The Journal
What gets said in the treatment room rarely fits into a single session. The journal picks up those conversations: everyday gestures, the rhythm of the seasons, what the skin seems to ask for from one part of the year to the next. Short pieces, written to be read again at home.
Looking after your skin, day to day
A session ends at the door of the treatment room. The rest happens at home, in brief gestures, repeated, calling for nothing in particular. They are what carries on the work done in the room, and they are, more often than not, what we talk about at the end of a session.
The journal sets that advice down in writing. Cleansing without stripping. Understanding why skin that feels tight is not always dry skin. Knowing when a rich texture makes sense, and when it does not. Nothing complicated: habits you can keep to, which contribute to comfort and to the radiance of the complexion.
There is patience in it too. A routine is not judged the next morning. It is judged on regularity, and on what the skin seems to accept or refuse over the weeks.
Following the seasons
Skin does not behave the same way in January as it does in July. The cold, indoor heating, dry air, then warmth and light: each season shifts a little of what the skin calls for, and often the order in which textures are applied.
The journal follows that thread. What we lighten when the weather turns warm. What we add when the air becomes dry. The times of year when we prefer to space out protocols, and those when the complexion appears to accept a steadier rhythm. The calendar is part of the care, as much as the products.
The journal opens with a first piece, to read below.
