Body ultrasound
Lipocavitation
An ultrasound body treatment, worked at the surface of the skin. It supports work on your shape that begins elsewhere: at the table, in movement, in rest. At Magic Room, it is always taken with a second technology alongside it.

What it is
At Magic Room, a Korean beauty studio in Paris 17 (Porte Maillot), lipocavitation is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment, from 120 €, by appointment.
Lipocavitation is a cosmetic comfort treatment, carried out with a handpiece resting on the skin. Anne first applies a contact gel, cool to begin with, then glides the head slowly over the agreed area: the stomach, the hips, the thighs or the arms. The device emits low-frequency ultrasound. Nothing goes into the skin: the work stays topical, non-invasive, and stops at the surface.
What you feel comes down to very little. A gentle warmth that follows the hand. A high, continuous sound the ear notices more than the body; it takes you by surprise at a first appointment, and you stop hearing it after that. The pressure stays even, never firm, and the intensity is adjusted whenever you ask.
On our menu, lipocavitation is never taken on its own. It is paired either with CO₂ Carboxy Therapy in its topical form, a gel and a mask laid on the skin, or with radiofrequency, which works the area through warmth. The pairing is chosen with you, according to the area and what you are hoping to see in the way the skin looks.
Two options appear on the menu, at the same price: Lipocavitation + CO₂ Carboxy Therapy — 120 € and Lipocavitation + Radiofrequency — 120 €. The length of the appointment is not shown on our menu: to be provided. The studio is by appointment only, at 243 B boulevard Pereire, Paris 17, Porte Maillot, and bookings are made through Treatwell.
Who this treatment is for
It is for people who have already put something in place on their own side, and who are looking for support rather than a solution.
- You keep to a steady way of living and would like to add a treatment appointment alongside it.
- The skin on your stomach, hips, thighs or arms looks uneven to you, and you would like it to appear softer.
- You would rather have a non-invasive treatment, with nothing visible afterwards, that fits into an ordinary day.
- You come back for a series of appointments rather than just once, and the rhythm is decided in the treatment room.
How it unfolds in the treatment room
How it unfolds in the treatment room
The conversation
The appointment opens with a moment of looking. Anne studies the area, listens to your habits and to what you are after, then asks whether any medical history or ongoing care should be mentioned. At the slightest doubt, she sends you back to your doctor.
Settling in
You lie down, the area uncovered, the rest kept covered. The contact gel goes on: cool for the first few seconds, then forgotten.
The ultrasound pass
The head glides slowly, in even movements. The warmth rises gently, the high sound settles in. Every step is announced to you before it is done.
The pairing chosen
Depending on the option chosen at the start of the session, the appointment continues with topical CO₂ Carboxy Therapy or with radiofrequency, on the same area.
The advice for afterwards
The area is wiped clean, you dress again, and you leave with the everyday habits to keep up. The suggested rhythm is set with you. Length of the appointment: to be provided.
Duration and pricing
Duration : to be provided. By appointment only.
What this treatment does not do
What this treatment does not do
We would rather say it before the appointment than after. An honest treatment is also known by what it refuses to promise.
- It does not make you lose weight. Weight is settled elsewhere: at the table, in sleep, in movement. No device does that work for you.
- It is no substitute for balanced eating or regular exercise. It comes after them, never instead of them.
- It is no substitute for medical advice. If some discomfort or a point in your history leaves you wondering, your doctor is the right person to ask.
- We quote no centimetres, no kilos, no percentages, no number of sessions. What shows varies from one person to the next, and nothing here is promised.
- This is not a medical procedure: the treatment stays at the surface of the skin, and that is where it stops.
After the session
- You pick your day back up: nothing asks you to set time aside afterwards.
- The area worked on may look pink and feel a little warm as you leave. It settles on its own.
- Drink water, and move a little during the day if your routine allows: the treatment sits within that movement, it does not stand in for it.
- Face make-up is not affected: it stays where it is, the session works only on the agreed area of the body.
- If anything unusual troubles you in the days that follow, ask your doctor.
Frequently asked questions
Is it painful?
No. You feel a gentle warmth and an even pressure, never firm. The only thing that surprises people at a first appointment is that high sound. If anything bothers you, say so: the intensity is adjusted during the session.
How long does the appointment last?
The length is not shown on our menu: to be provided. We would rather not put forward a figure that has not been settled.
Can I wear make-up or go back to work straight afterwards?
Yes. The session works on one area of the body only: face make-up stays where it is, and you leave dressed as you arrived.
How often should I come back?
The rhythm is decided with Anne at the end of the appointment, according to the area and your habits. We do not quote a number of sessions in advance: that would be a promise, and we do not make them.
Are there any contraindications?
Some situations call for a doctor's opinion before any body treatment: pregnancy, breastfeeding, ongoing medical care, a known medical history, an implanted medical device. Anne asks the question, but the answer belongs to your doctor.
Is there anything to prepare before coming?
Nothing in particular. Come in comfortable clothes, and avoid applying a rich cream to the area just beforehand.
