Body radiofrequency

Warmth rising slowly beneath an applicator, over the stomach, the thighs or the backs of the arms. A quiet moment in the treatment room, for comfort and for the apparent firmness of the skin. The treatment stays at the surface: it is topical and non-invasive.

Warmth, laid on the skin

At Magic Room, a Korean beauty studio in Paris 17 (Porte Maillot), body radiofrequency is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment, from 100 €, by appointment.

Body radiofrequency is carried out with an applicator that glides across the skin, helped along by a contact gel. The device gives off a steady warmth that builds gradually. Anne works area by area, in slow movements: the stomach, the waist, the hips, the thighs, the buttocks, the backs of the arms.

The sensation is that of a very warm hand passing and passing again over the same spot. It can be adjusted at any point during the treatment. Nothing stings. Anne asks regularly how you are getting on, and the intensity comes down the moment you say so.

The treatment stays at the surface of the body. It is topical and non-invasive: the warmth settles, it goes through nothing. This is a beauty gesture, conceived for comfort and for the look of the skin.

Three formats appear on the studio menu. Radiofrequency — 100 €. Radiofrequency + CO₂ Carboxy Therapy — 120 €. Lipocavitation + Radiofrequency — 120 €. The last two bring together, within the same appointment, the warmth of radiofrequency and a second stage of care on the same area. The length of each session: to be provided.

Who it is for

This treatment is for those who look at one area of their body and find it less firm than it used to be. It is chosen with Anne, once she has looked at the skin.

  • The skin of the stomach and the waist, when it seems to have lost some of its tone.
  • The thighs and the hips, when the texture of the skin looks less smooth than it once did.
  • The backs of the arms, an area rarely shown and often watched.
  • Those who would rather have a regular appointment than a one-off.
In the treatment room, step by step

In the treatment room, step by step

  1. The conversation

The appointment opens with a few questions. Anne looks at the area you have come about, listens to your habits and to what you are hoping for, then explains what the device does and what it does not do. The protocol is chosen there, with you.

  2. Settling in

You settle in, the area is uncovered and then cleansed. A contact gel is applied: it lets the applicator glide and the warmth spread evenly. Nothing else is needed.

  3. The pass of the device

Anne moves the applicator in slow strokes, section by section. The warmth builds, holds steady, then adjusts to what you are feeling. Every step is announced before it is carried out.

  4. Coming back down

The gel is wiped away, the skin is dried, and you take your time getting up. Anne gives you the aftercare to keep to at home and the rhythm suggested for what follows: to be provided.

What this treatment does not do

What this treatment does not do

Better said plainly: what you are promised elsewhere, we would rather not promise you here.

  • It is not a way to lose weight. The scales are not the measure of this appointment, and no session stands in for movement and a way of eating that suits you.
  • It makes nothing disappear. It works on comfort and on the look of the skin, which is not the same thing.
  • This is not a medical procedure, and Anne is not a doctor. Nothing that belongs to a diagnosis, to medical care or to medical follow-up takes place in the treatment room.
  • It comes with no promise of results. Skin does not all respond in the same way, and no one can tell you in advance what yours will do.
  • A single session does not make a protocol. If you are looking for a change in one go, this is not the right place.

After the session

  • The skin stays warm and may look pink for a while, until the heat settles.
  • You get dressed and you leave. Nothing shows under clothes.
  • Drinking water through the day is among the things advised.
  • The precautions to observe in the hours that follow, in particular for the sauna, the hammam and sport: to be provided.
  • The rhythm suggested between two appointments: to be provided. It is set with Anne, according to your skin and your diary.

Frequently asked questions

Does it hurt?

No. The dominant sensation is warmth building, sometimes decidedly so, never sharp. It is adjusted during the treatment: if it becomes too strong, you say so and the intensity comes down. Comfort is the marker of this appointment, not endurance.

What exactly will I feel?

An applicator warm at first, then hot, gliding over the skin with a gel, in steady passes back and forth over the same area. Some people find it relaxing, others simply unfamiliar for the first few minutes.

How long does the session last, and how many should I plan for?

No duration is shown on the studio menu: to be provided. The recommended number of sessions: to be provided as well. Anne prefers to talk about it once she has seen the skin.

Are there any contraindications?

Some situations call for your doctor's opinion before any session: pregnancy, an implanted medical device, ongoing medical care, a skin condition on the area. Speak to your doctor about it, then tell us when you book.

Can radiofrequency be combined with something else on the same day?

Yes, two combinations appear on the menu. Radiofrequency + CO₂ Carboxy Therapy — 120 €, and Lipocavitation + Radiofrequency — 120 €. The choice is made with Anne, according to the area and to what you are looking for.

How do I book?

Appointments are made on Treatwell. The studio is at 243 B boulevard Pereire, 75017 Paris, Porte Maillot, and receives by appointment only.
