Two surface actives
Exosomes and PDRN, on the surface of the skin
Two of the most sought-after actives in Korean cosmetics. At Magic Room they go into professional serums that are applied to the skin, and nothing more. The gesture stays topical, on the surface, non-invasive, from beginning to end.

Two actives, one surface gesture
At Magic Room, a Korean beauty studio in Paris 17 (Porte Maillot), treatments with exosomes and PDRN are non-invasive cosmetic treatments, from 130 €, by appointment.
Here, exosomes and PDRN are cosmetic ingredients. They come into the treatment room as professional serums, and they are laid on the skin. Nothing is introduced beneath the skin, at any moment. Magic Room is a beauty salon: Anne is a beauty therapist, and what happens in the treatment room stays within topical cosmetics.
Exosomes are very small vesicles that come out of Korean cosmetic research. Used as an application, they accompany the serum and contribute to the smoothed look of the surface. It is a radiance active, and that is how it should be understood.
PDRN is an active of marine origin, widely present in Korean formulas. Applied on the surface, it helps to maintain suppleness and comfort. It often appears in protocols designed for skin that feels tight.
That leaves the question of how the active is spread. A serum simply laid on the skin stays very largely on the surface, and that is precisely what we want. The technologies used in the treatment room serve to spread the active evenly across that surface: Microneedling Premium on one side, Glowjet on the other. The choice is made during the consultation.
Three entries on the menu, prices shown: Microneedling Premium with PDRN — 130 €, Microneedling Premium with Exosomes — 160 €, Glowjet with PDRN or Exosomes — 180 €. Length of the session: to be provided.
Who this is for
There is no typical skin. There are moments, wishes, habits. These protocols often come up when one of these words speaks to you.
- The complexion looks dull, without it being clear why.
- The skin texture seems uneven, particularly on the cheeks and the forehead.
- The skin feels tight, lacks suppleness, drinks up everything applied to it.
- A wish for a regular ritual, rather than a one-off burst of radiance.
- An occasion coming up, and the wish to arrive looking well.
How the session unfolds
How the session unfolds
The conversation
The appointment opens seated, not lying down. Anne looks at your skin, asks what you put on it in the morning, what bothers you. It is this moment that decides the active and the technology, not the other way round.
The preparation
Make-up removal, cleansing, the skin is brought back to clean. An active is never laid on a laden skin: this step is never rushed, even when it looks ordinary.
The active
The serum with PDRN or exosomes is applied to the skin. It is the heart of the appointment, and it is a surface gesture.
Spreading it evenly
The chosen technology takes over, Microneedling Premium or Glowjet, to spread the active evenly. Every step is announced to you before it is done; you can ask for a pause at any moment.
Soothing, then advice
A soothing treatment closes the session. You leave with the steps to keep up at home and the rhythm suggested for what follows; the next appointment is arranged with you.

What this treatment does not do
What this treatment does not do
Better to say it plainly. A treatment is also judged by what it does not claim to do.
- This is not a medical procedure, and it stands in for none. Magic Room is a beauty salon, nothing else.
- It does not change the volumes of the face, nor its contour, nor its structure. What is at play here is the surface and the radiance.
- It does not stop time. The skin carries on living between two appointments, and that is exactly as it should be.
- Nothing will be promised to you in figures. No percentage, no length of result: your skin answers in its own way.
- It does not stand in for your habits. Sleep, sun protection and your morning routine weigh more than a single session.
- A single session on its own does not do everything. It is regularity that counts, and it is decided with you, never in advance.
The days that follow
- A slight redness can appear, depending on the skin. It settles on its own.
- The skin asks for gentleness: simple cleansing, no scrub, no strong active added on your side.
- Sun protection is the step that counts the most, including when the sky is overcast.
- Sauna, hammam, swimming pool and intense exercise: Anne tells you at the end of the session how long to wait.
- Make-up goes back on according to what Anne tells you in the treatment room, depending on what was done.
- The next appointment is booked on Treatwell, or with Anne at the end of the treatment.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a medical procedure?
No. Magic Room is a beauty salon and Anne is a beauty therapist, not a doctor. Exosomes and PDRN are ingredients in professional cosmetic serums here, applied to the skin. No medical procedure is carried out in the treatment room.
Is it comfortable?
The treatment is designed for comfort, and you stay in charge of the pace. Every step is announced to you before it is done, and you can say at any moment what you are feeling: Anne adjusts.
How long does the session last?
Length of the session: to be provided. The first appointment also includes the time for conversation and observation, before the protocol is settled.
Can I wear make-up when I leave?
That depends on what was done and on your skin. Anne tells you at the end of the session. If you have an event that same evening, mention it when you book: the protocol can be chosen accordingly.
How often should I come back?
There is no number of sessions fixed in advance, and no one here will sell you one. The rhythm is decided with Anne, according to your skin and the season. It is adjusted from one appointment to the next.
Are there situations where this treatment is not suitable?
Yes. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, an ongoing medical protocol, broken or reactive skin, a particular history: mention it before the session. Anne is not a doctor and gives no opinion on your health; if in doubt, ask your own doctor. The protocol can be adapted, postponed, or set aside.
