What the Glowjet is
At Magic Room, a Korean beauty studio in Paris 17 (Porte Maillot), the Glowjet is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment, from 150 €, by appointment.
The Glowjet is a diffusion device. A fine nozzle releases a serum under controlled pressure and lays it on the skin, area by area, in one continuous sweeping movement. The gesture stays at the surface, on the face, and on the neck if you would like it there.
The sensation is easy to describe: a cool breath of air, a steady pressure moving across the skin, a faint sound of air. Anne names each area before she works on it. You can ask her to ease the pressure at any moment; the device is adjusted as the session goes on.
Two versions appear on the list. The Glowjet, with the studio’s own serum. The Glowjet with PDRN or Exosomes, with one of those two actives drawn from Korean skincare. The choice is made with Anne, at the skin consultation, and the composition of the serum is shown to you in the treatment room.
Prices are shown plainly. Glowjet — 150 €. Glowjet with PDRN or Exosomes — 180 €. The length of the session: to be provided.
The Glowjet also appears inside a signature protocol, the Magic Red Carpet, where it follows a Glow Peel. On its own or paired, it remains a surface gesture, meant for radiance and comfort. The studio receives by appointment only, at 243 B boulevard Pereire, Paris 17.
Who it is for
The Glowjet is chosen according to what your skin is asking for that day. These are the situations in which it comes up most often.
- Complexions that look dull, at the end of winter or after a tiring stretch.
- Skin that feels tight and is looking for comfort, without a firm touch.
- Skin texture that feels uneven under the fingers, on the cheeks or across the forehead.
- An occasion coming up, when you would like a fresh complexion beforehand.
- First visits, when you would rather begin with something gentle.
How the session unfolds
How the session unfolds
The conversation and the skin consultation
The appointment opens with a moment of observation. Anne looks at your skin, listens to your habits, your needs and what you are hoping for. That is where the version to be used is decided.
Preparation
The skin is cleansed of make-up, then washed. Anne clears the face, protects your hair and settles you in before the device is switched on.
The sweep
The nozzle passes over the face, area by area, in steady, continuous movements. Each area is named for you. The pressure is adjusted as the session goes on, according to what you feel.
The finish and the advice
The session closes quietly. Anne gives you the care to keep up at home and the rhythm she suggests for what comes next. The following appointment is set with you, if you would like.
Duration and pricing
Duration : to be provided. By appointment only.
What the Glowjet does not do
What the Glowjet does not do
Better said before you settle in. An honest treatment is one whose limits are known, and that conversation is part of the appointment.
- This is not a medical procedure. Anne is a beauty therapist: she works on the appearance of the skin, never on a condition.
- It is no substitute for a dermatologist’s opinion. A lesion, a redness that settles in, a question of health belong with a doctor.
- It changes neither the volumes nor the structure of the face. What is at play here is texture, radiance, comfort: what can be seen and felt at the surface.
- It is no substitute for your routine at home. What you do between two appointments counts at least as much as what happens in the treatment room.
- It holds nothing still. Skin shifts with the seasons, with sleep, with the life you lead; a treatment goes along with that movement, it does not stop it.
- It promises no result. Anne will tell you what she observes, and nothing more.
After the session
- The recommended wait before wearing make-up again: to be provided. Anne tells you at the end of the session.
- Sun protection remains the most useful daily habit, grey days included.
- In the evening, keep to simple textures: a gentle cleanser, a cream your skin already knows.
- Sauna, hammam, swimming pool and intense exercise, the recommended wait: to be provided.
- The rhythm between two sessions: to be provided. It is set with Anne, according to what you are after.
- If a sensation takes you by surprise in the days that follow, ring the studio.
Frequently asked questions
Is it uncomfortable?
The gesture stays at the surface. You feel a cool breath of air and a steady pressure moving across the skin. If the sensation bothers you on one area, say so: the pressure is adjusted as the session goes on.
What is the difference between the two versions on the list?
The Glowjet — 150 € — is done with the studio’s own serum. The Glowjet with PDRN or Exosomes — 180 € — is the same gesture with one of those two actives. It is the serum that changes, not the way of working.
How long does the session last?
The length of the session: to be provided. The studio’s list shows no duration: the exact slot is given to you when you book on Treatwell.
Can I wear make-up when I leave?
The recommended wait: to be provided. Anne tells you at the end of the session, according to what has been done.
How often can one come back?
The recommended rhythm: to be provided. It depends on your skin and on what you are after; it is set with Anne, rather than fixed in advance.
Are there any contraindications?
Some situations call for a doctor’s opinion before any aesthetic treatment: ongoing medical care, pregnancy, a known allergy, a skin condition on the area concerned. Mention them when you book. If in doubt, medical advice comes first.
