Oxy Jet Peel
A jet of pressurised oxygen, a serum broken into mist, nothing else. The treatment cleanses the surface of the skin and gives it back water, with no heat and nothing to manage afterwards. It is often the way people first come to Magic Room.

Oxygen, then the serum
At Magic Room, a Korean beauty studio in Paris 17 (Porte Maillot), the Oxy Jet Peel is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment, from 150 €, by appointment.
Two elements, not one more: oxygen and a serum. The oxygen is put under pressure, then released through a fine nozzle that sweeps across the face, carrying the serum broken into mist. What touches your skin is not an instrument, it is a breath of air laden with water.
The pass is made in slow bands, from the forehead to the cheeks, from the chin to the sides of the nose. The jet lifts away what has settled over the course of the day: sebum, traces of make-up, dust, the oily film in the hollow of the pores. Nothing is rubbed, nothing is scraped. It is the pressure that does the work, and it is adjusted area by area.
Then comes the serum. The same nozzle lays down a very fine rain that the skin drinks in as it falls. The formula is chosen in the treatment room: skin that feels tight and skin that shines are not given the same thing. Everything happens at the surface, the treatment is topical and non-invasive.
That is what makes it such a good first appointment. No heat, no current, no redness to hide on the way out. You lie down, you hear the breath of the machine, you feel the coolness of the mist, and the complexion looks clearer when you sit up. On the menu, the Oxy Jet Peel is 150 €. Duration: to be provided.
Who it is for
It is not aimed at a skin type but at a state: skin that feels congested, short of water, skin you want to give suppleness back to.
- Skin that feels tight at the end of the day, dull complexions at the end of winter, when the face looks tired before you do.
- Combination skin, with a shiny middle zone and visible pores.
- Sensitive or reactive skin that takes badly to firm handling and rich textures.
- A first appointment, when you want to see how the studio works before going any further.
How a session unfolds
How a session unfolds
The conversation, the skin assessment
The appointment opens sitting down. Anne looks at your skin in the light, asks what you use at home and what bothers you. The serum and the pressure are chosen there.
Taking off the make-up
The skin is cleansed by hand to take off make-up and the morning's cream. The jet is at its best on a clean surface.
The oxygen pass
The nozzle sweeps the face in bands. A steady breath of air, a cool current, never hot. Each area is announced before it is approached. If the pressure feels strong, you only have to say so.
The serum mist
The same jet then lays the serum down in a fine rain, from the forehead to the neck. The sensation changes: softer, almost damp. It is the moment most clients prefer.
The advice for afterwards
You sit up and look at the skin together. Anne gives you the habits to keep at home and the rhythm for what follows. The next appointment is arranged with you.

What this treatment does not do
What this treatment does not do
Better to say it plainly: this treatment has a scope, and it stops there. Knowing where it ends makes for a truer appointment.
- It is no substitute for medical advice. Skin that is changing, a mark that persists, inflammatory acne: that is a matter for a doctor, not for a beauty studio.
- It works at the surface, and only there. It alters neither the volumes of the face, nor set lines, nor a loss of firmness.
- It changes nothing about pigmentation marks already there. Other protocols on the menu speak to that, and Anne will tell you so frankly.
- It does not replace your morning and evening routine. One session does not make up for months without hydration.
- What it brings is not held for good. The skin goes on its own way, and it is regularity that makes the difference.
After the session
- You leave straight away: no rest time to plan for, no redness to cover up.
- The skin may look slightly pink for a few minutes, until the coolness fades.
- Make-up is possible right afterwards. Keeping the face bare until the evening is more pleasant, without being an obligation.
- Daily sun protection remains the rule, as after any facial treatment.
- The rhythm between two sessions is set with Anne at the end of the appointment. Recommended interval: to be provided.
Frequently asked questions
Does it hurt?
No. Nothing stings, nothing heats up. The sensation is that of a cool draught of air sweeping across the face, then of a lightly damp mist. If the pressure feels strong anywhere, say so and it comes down at once.
Can I wear make-up when I leave?
Yes, nothing forbids it. Many clients still prefer to keep the face bare for a few hours, because the sensation is pleasant. It is a comfort, not an instruction.
How long does the session last?
Duration: to be provided. The exact slot is given to you when you book on Treatwell.
How often should I come back?
That depends on your skin and on what you are looking for. The rhythm is decided with Anne at the end of the appointment, from what she has observed. Recommended interval: to be provided.
My skin is sensitive and reactive, is this suitable?
Often, yes, because nothing is rubbed or scraped: the pressure of the jet takes the place of the mechanical gesture. Mention your usual reactions during the assessment. Anne adapts the pressure and the formula, and will set the treatment aside if she judges it unsuitable that day.
Are there any contraindications?
Some situations call for a doctor's opinion before any facial treatment: pregnancy, ongoing medication, a skin condition, a recent procedure. We are not doctors and we will not decide in place of yours. Ask them beforehand.
